This is part 3 of 3 of the ESO newest DLC Morrowind. In this part i will go over the new PvP mode battle grounds, the main characters for the story, the factions, the new trail and story outline.
Battlegrounds is the new PvP mode for the elder scrolls online it is a 4v4v4 experience with there being 3 modes them being Team Deathmatch, Capture the flag and Domination. These 3 are self explanatory. In Team Deathmatch all you have to do is kill tho i’m unaware of how points your team needs to win (because i haven’t played TDM yet i would think it to be some where around 30 to 40 points to win.
In Capture the flag or CTF your team must capture the enemy’s flag while defending your own. This game mode is very team-based gameplay and you must work with your team to win. In Domination there will be an area of interest that will spawn your team must work together to control the area the longer your team holds the point the more points your team gets.
In each game type, you’ll win by either reaching the point limit or by having the highest total by the end of the match.
There are three unique arenas you’ll fight in at launch:
- Ald Carac – A dilapidated ruin of an ancient Dwemer city
- Ularra – An old overgrown Daedric worshipping site
- Foyada Quarry – A quarry set in the shadow of Red Mountain
Each Battleground has its own unique sense and style, and we’ll have more information regarding each one, including points of interest, in the weeks to come.
Spoils of War
Spoils of war also known as loot is 1 of the main intensives for playing battlegrounds is the rewards it doesn’t matter if you’re an objective-minded team player or a lone wolf, you will receive rewards and recognition based on how you want to play.
By the time the dust settles and a victor is declared, your points and medals contribute to end-game rewards, including Alliance Points, Experience Points, and items.
On top of this, there will also be a host of new Achievements that are based on and reward Battlegrounds play. For example, you can earn Achievements for defeating enemy players, winning games, or capturing flags.
Finally, competing in Battlegrounds places you on the weekly Battleground Leaderboards. These Leaderboards last seven days and are broken into unique game mode categories. The top players are ranked on the Leaderboards, but you will be able to check your current position in the total list if you don’t make the cut. Depending on your final position on the Leaderboard when the week is up, you’ll earn rewards.
The Halls of Fabrication
The new Trail or Raid is called The Halls of Fabrication it is a 12-man raid where you and your team fight your way through clock-work city killing epic dwarven mechanisms. Unfortunately I can not shed a lot of light on the trail for I haven’t been able to play it but I know that there is 6 different armour sets to collect.
If you don’t want to know about the story turn away
In this section I will go over the main story. When you arrive in Vvardenfell you are asked to help Vivec 1 of the 3 mortal gods of Tamerial and ruler of the dark elves. After asking and sprite you head for Vivec city home of Vivec where he makes you his eye’s and ears. After searching you finally recover the staff Su’rah where the Archconon reveals himself as a lackey for a deadric prince Clavcis Vile lord of bargains who tries to take Vivec’s power for him self and fails after returning Vivec’s power back to him he rewards the people that helped you return Vivec’s power.
